dayton broncos news story 02.10.10 three dayton broncos have signed scholarships to play football on the collegiate level. dayton athletic director and head football coach jerry stewart said those broncos are tony hill, chance mccormick, and payton plough. "audio" coach stewart said all three players did a good job for the bronco teams that advanced to the state quarterfinals this past fall and the state finals the previous year. "audio" the dayton football coach also predicted what positions he expects these young athletes will play on their college teams. "audio" once more, three dayton broncos have earned scholarships to play for college teams. tony hill has already graduated and is attending stephen f. austin university in nacogdoches. chance mccormick is headed to blinn junior college in brenham while payton plough will play at lamar university in beaumont. of note, payton plough has also been nominated to compete in june’s bayou bowl. that game pitts senior all-stars from louisiana against top players from texas. |
