liberty softball 02.25.10

the liberty lady panthers softball team made it to the CHAMPIONSHIP game at the bayou classic tournament in beaumont over the weekend. in that final match-up, the liberty girls fell just short in a 3-1 loss to tournament winner hamshire-fannett. on their way to that CHAMPIONSHIP game, the lady panthers defeated buna 7-1 and also topped hull-daisetta 10-0. during that three-game stretch, liberty’s DEFENSE only committed one error WHILE PITCHERS taylor kaderli and KATHERINE mcadams turned in strong performances from the mound. offensively, the whole team contributed to those 18 runs. prior to the bayou classic, the lady panthers had defeated hardin 7-0 last friday at liberty cit y park. the liberty lady panthers look to continue their winning ways when they travel to hardin this friday for a 4:30 start against the lady hornets.
